Accommodation in Jaca, Spain, is a lot cheaper than most Northern European countries. In most inland Pyrenees towns, you will be able to find a double room for around 30 euros and a single room for 20 euros or more.

On the coastal resorts, like Costa Brava, prices for accomodation can be high, and they are often increased during peak periods. Inland, it's different. The prices for lodgings are generally cheaper.

You can sometimes get a bad deal if you are travelling on your own. There are not too many single rooms available in the Pyrenees (less on the French side). If you find a single room, it might be as much as 80 per cent the price of a double room. It's better value to share. Sometimes it's possible to negotiate; it depends on the establishment. Hostels in the Catalonia province generally offer good value for money.

Hotels here are of high quality, with modern facilities, and usually have good restaurants and bars. Most have private parking as well.
