The old royal jail of Jaca is now a government building.

This building was once a private house and later served as a prison tower, from 1602 onwards. It is gothic in style, with a square plan. The tower was constructed in 1445. It is located where the Palace of the Aragonese Monarch was burnt down. Nowadays, the Work Committee of the Pyrenees operates from the tower.
