Guasillo belongs to the Jaca municipality. It is 76 km from Huesca and located at an altitude of 868 metres.

In the early 1990s it had a population of just 29 inhabitants.
The church of San Andres is different from most. It is a mixture of Romanesque and Baroque style. The bell tower of this parochial church is the only part that is of Romanesque style. The rest of the church has been designed in baroque, making the bell tower stand out quite a bit.

The church is rectangular. It has a large Romanesque window with horseshoe arches. Many Mozarabic traditions have been lost in this area. San Andreas is a fine example of well-preserved Mozarabic design they have managed to keep.

Guasillo is one of the villages on the Santiago way; the route GR 65.3 passes through here.
